Purdue STEM project: Duct Tape Boats
Student's from Purdue University have partnered with Bailey Elementary school to bring exciting STEM activities to all grade levels. Miss Sanchez's second grade class created duct tape boats. Students tested their designs by seeing how many dominoes the boats could hold while still floating.

Purdue University students have led several great STEM projects at Bailey. This is the first year for the program.

Virgil I. Bailey Elementary School was awarded the National Title I Distinguished School Award for the 2014-2015 school year. Congratulations Bailey Students and Staff.
